Heat

The 16:07 train from Hither Green to Cannon Street was almost empty, the heat was suffocating and this man was trying to read a book on the secrets of the templars.
A Richard Harris lookalike with a Abraham Lincoln beard, he struggled to keep awake and at times, when he was in an unconcious state, I wondered if he was still alive. He kept on waking up just to rescue the book from falling off his hands.
I did a sketch of him and when I finished a little dead fly was lying flat on the page, rather appropriately I thought.
